He didn’t watch every game thenSpoke to a Birmingham City fan yesterday holidaying up here. They are very keen on Liam Rosenior and think we were mad for letting him go. He said he is favourite for the job and the feeling in Brum is they are hoping he accepts it. They are very impressed with his work at City and particularly for getting us from 14th to 7th in the Championship last season. This Brum fan thought it would be a step up for him because 'Birmingham are a bigger club than Hull'. All Brum fans were praying and hoping we would beat Plymouth on the last day of the season, something I was unaware of, and this fella was literally gushing in praise for Rosy. He said he thought 'Hull played some great football last season'.
The Vice-Chairman of Fenerbahçe thing worries me, to be honest. Remember when Acun first bought the club and lots of Turks online said ‘he’s going to use Hull City as a money-laundering operation for his friends at Fenerbahçe’? Initially, I just put it down to salty Galatasaray fans but the £4 million plus 50% sell-on for Allahyar was quite suspicious when you think about it. He’s a lifelong Fenerbahçe fan and now he’s on their board. How long before he gets bored of City and starts treating us like a minor partner in a multi-club enterprise? It’s his decision and his money but my gut tells me I don’t like it.
You sound like a Shelbourne fan.

I've said it for a while now, he's positioning himself to be the owner in the future

I wouldn't see it as 'criticising', but I would see it, rightly, as asking questions about what, if anything, it means for us.So we are allowed to criticise Acun now ?
