We played 'strikers'
If delap and connolly are injured

And ohio is not fit
What striker should have played?
Part of Acuns point was that Ohio was fit, and he was good enough to again get called up by and play for Holland U21s. You don't do that if you're unfit and crap.
He was raw but maybe he'd have come on rapidly had he been played? And for those that say Rosenior did so well developing young players including those on loan, I guess Ohio is one of those several examples that you choose to ignore. Can't have it both ways.

Netherlands u21 means **** all

Its such a low level of football
And like 90% dont go on to play for the proper team

Still can't find a recording or transcript of last night.
Has anyone else had any luck finding one?

Regarding the striker chat - it’s probably worth remembering that in his time with us - Carvalho scored just under 1 in 2. Averaged out over a season this would be about 22/23 goals.

Which player are we dropping to play a striker? Carvalho, Tufan, Omur, Zaroury or Jaden?

I’m not saying it was the right or wrong decision and we might have scored more goals if we had a striker on the pitch - but at the same time which of those players are you dropping for Ohio, Sharp or Connolly?

With Delap it’s an easier choice but out of the players available to us - I’d have probably done the same.

For me, I think Acuns end game is to get us to the prem, sell us for a tidy profit and then buy Fenerbache.
He's spoken repeatedly about his vision being not just to get us into the PL but to establish us there, take us into Europe, etc. Why do some keep saying he's in it to try to make a 'fast' buck (as in get us up then sell)? Why believe some things he says yet not believe him when he talks about his longer term visions?

Keeps the fans happy makes the job easier win the fans over less hassle when decisions are made could be a reason just an opinion.

I may be wrong, it's just my feeling

We do, but we’ve given up on ongoing improvement and decided to just go hell for leather with some manic German, which could prove a master stroke, or could prove a disaster.
Or ..... we've dumped an overly conservative coach who failed when it mattered (3 in 13) and who oversaw a very poor record at home for a more experienced coach who can build on the good bits of Rosenior's tenure (= "ongoing improvement")whilst bringing a more positive attacking possession based style?
I agree in that it might work or might not. It was ever thus. Only TWT.
Why the dramatic take?
