It's a major hangover from the Shota days, but confidence appears to be shot in a number of players, Greaves included.. there's a number whose form has dipped since he was in charge amid the confusion he was spouting.

Hence why we need to go back to basics, get em on the training pitch, and drill em properly til such time they remember what they're supposed to be doing.

what about if we made mechanical goal posts? that after the referee has measured them, we can lower them a few inches
just at the side we are defending

then again i think if our goal was a 5 a side size, we'd still concede 3 goals a game

Why don't we play Alfie Jones as defensive midfielder he should replace Toufan ? He has played there before and looked useful. McLoughlin should be playing in place of Greaves at the moment as Greaves needs a few games out of the side to restore his confidence.
Like others not sure why we are playing Doc and Slater as wingers when we have Sinik and Longman on the bench it makes no sense.
Mcloughlin instead of Figueredo

Tutala I’ve seen a handful of times in U23s games. He is very vocal, he never shuts up. My non-City supporting mate who watches him calls him “boom box” because he was screaming down the pitch as we were about to score. Also expected him to sound French, he doesn’t, he has a thick London accent.

He backs himself and he’s a good shot stopper, whether or not we will see him in the first team any time soon remains to be seen but Baz will have been taking notes and I imagine we will see him in a cup game if the draw is kind to us.
Vocal yes, but when I first saw him play for us I immediately thought how small he was for a goalkeeper.

People knee jerk ridiculously on here, one minute a player can do no wrong, next he can't do anything right.

Greaves was brilliant for us last season, he's obviously going through a dip in form at the moment, but that doesn't suddenly make him a League One player.

Let's get Rosie through the door and wait and see if he can't knock the lads into shape.

I keep saying it, centre halves aren’t complete players till 25/26. He’s always going to dip in for, the best managers can see it and take them out the firing line. We did that playing him at left back. Which he was doing well.

or we could use them practice goals on wheels and have two blokes running left and right when the other team shoot, mind you just thinking about it knowing our look they would run the wrong way.
