Nottingham Forest have announced that manager Steve Cooper has signed a new contract with the club.

The 42-year-old, who was in the final 12 months of his present deal has agreed to stay at the City Ground until 2025.
Madness , its gonna cost a fortune to sack him now.

Not sure what to make of all of this - surely Acun would not have had an image of himself, and Martins allowed out unless Martins had signed!!! Media-wise for Acun it's an off the scale cluster-embarrassment. Is there a level of naivety here that needs to be reined in? Jets back and forth to Portugal plus imagery with the "new man" plus the guy sitting next to him for a game. Does anyone ever advise Acun - his stock in media savviness is taking a serious hit here.

As Samuel Goldwyn supposedly said “ A verbal contract isn’t worth the paper it is written on.”

So who do we think is in the reckoning now?

Martins is out. Baz says we're not interested in Corberan or Carvalhal (appreciate Baz has been wrong in the past, things change etc but presuming for now he's right). Just can't see Acun going for Parker, Hughton or Wilder.

Will be interesting to see how it all pans out.

According to this, looks like Dawson for the foreseeable future.
I don’t hold out a lot of hope, although his previous was with Scunthorpe, so not a great deal of hope for anyone there. Anyway he got a better performance out of the team after 8 hours than Shota did after 8 months, then Wednesday, we looked decent. Never know, it could be a Phil Brown style appointment.
