Acun does not seem to be a guy who will make the same mistake twice. Expecting an British coach this time with substantial championship experience.

I'm sure Bruce felt like he was effectively pushed out of the door, based on Ehab's antics. Possibly even feeling like he has unfinished business here. I don't think he's the right person for the job again now.

His win ratio since leaving us has been far from convincing either... Perhaps it really is time for him to hang his boots up for good.

Acun and Baz have had a chat this morning about the search and an update will be provided later.

Says Acun isn’t bothered about the wording of manager versus head coach… find that hard to believe

I have a feeling Bruce might call it a day if he is ousted by WBA, if I were him I would retire now.

I have a lot of respect for Bruce considering what he did here and I’ll defend him against anyone who says he’s ‘always been a bad manager’, but I suspect the game is now starting to pass his methods by. Wouldn’t be keen on a second stint.

Yeh generally, the best managers have a hunger that sees them put in a huge amount of time in to studying detail. I get the feeling Bruce relies on old school simplicities that just isn't enough these days, although no doubt would steady the ship.
