steve mclaren is a name circling at the moment. time will tell if he will fancy another managerial role

He's currently assistant at Man U. I would be very surprised if he left that role to take us over.

Wonder if they will go for Bielsa. Ticks at least one of the boxes that Acun and Tan supposedly looking for: Championship experience. As well as being a hard task master and demanding the players are super fit and live a healthy liftestyle etc. Ex defender so maybe he can sort out our defence, which is one of the problems at the moment. Correct me if I am wrong but appears to be available.

I'd have Bielsa in a heartbeat, despite what some think of the bloke he demands a performance and is a terrific tactician

What about Rob Edwards?

From the owner’s point of view, he couldn’t cut it at a Championship rival, so I don’t think he will be considered.

I suspect Fatih Terim will have been spoken to, but at his age I don’t know if he will want to move to the U.K.

I think Steve Schumacher should be in pole position for the job.

AD may be a decent coach, though I think all those involved of late have been culpable in our demise... but he's not a manager at this level or anywhere near it long term

You've got to be very careful about sweeping statements like that.

I think we'd all happily take Coberan, he's was Bielsa's assistant and his managerial experience was two short and largely unsuccessful spell in Cyprus.

Hudds took the plunge on him and it worked out great.

Swanny on humberside saying that Billic was first choice - might explain the stay of execution after Swansea as he went elsewhere.

Also saying that Shota was told last night
