We did play well on Wednesday. We're not going to walk this league but we carved out a hard fought 3 points. To almost expect us to be beating anyone in this division is naive.

I don't get this argument that Martins would have walked away because we're underperforming at the moment... I mean, it's no secret why there is a vacancy here in the first place is it? I thought we gave a good account of ourselves on Wednesday.

agree, we scored 2 good goals & looked more organised than under Shota. I suspect that Acun has pulled the plug rather than Martins & it is now up to him to go back & make Martins another offer. Whatever he does he needs to do it damn quick as we are getting pulled down into the relegation places & once there team morale will hit rock bottom .Being in a relegation battle is not the "dream" these players signed up for in the summer

Yeah, but not very convincingly against a side who were in L1 last season. That's why he, Martins, was never on camera smiling. He saw he'd be coming for a relegation scrap, and thought otherwise. I mentioned this to Burnsey, yesterday. All he could say was that they played well on Wednesday. Utter bollox. We were distinctly less than avg, against a side who will be down there, with us!

It might not be too bad if they have relegation release clauses.

Anyone think Acun might have been a little influenced by the show of support to Daws on Wednesday? Perhaps misunderstood where the fans were coming from. Maybe became reluctant then to meet Martin's demands.
Sunday was then a(nother) reality check.
Just a theory.

I would enjoy Pedro signing up just to see the deleted tweets and what not.

Still find it very hard to believe but the Wolves job no longer being available may have an influence.
