Forest look an absolute disaster. That’s what happens when you change almost the entire starting 11. They look like a group of strangers. A bit like us…

Yup.

History means f’ck all in that league…

Just heard a discussion on 5 live talking about Forest - the effect sheer numbers of recruitment pose to cohesion, commuication, leadership, organisation.

You could pretty much apply everything they said to us.

The difference is they've spent well over £150 million on their dream and if they come down they will implode...

They will get £100 million if they finish bottom. If they have been sensible with contracts they will be ale to cope.

Exactly why I said there's such a thing as going up too soon. They'll come down now, lose half that squad, and basically have to start again. If they'd built a strong core, gone up a season later (like TWS for instance) they'd have had a far better chance of being competitive.

Forest would probably have been doing better if they’d kept most of the team that got them promoted in their starting 11. Appreciate they had loan players and out of contract players.

I think when you go up, you kind of ride the wave. A few additions but the team spirit gets you through that season. Adding a load of players just destroys it all.
Our first ever pl season is a great example of that
