Someone once said wouldn’t life be simpler if we were all green? But then you would have had someone else decreeing dark greens at the back of the bus…
Spot on!!! What a ****ing ignorant and inappropriate thing to ask the lad. Nobody questioned Roseniors colour when he played for us and nobody should be now either...Great player during his time with us and if you'd have cut him open he'd have bled black and amber. Stupid twats that ask stupid questions open up needless debate, the only way to move on from this whole unnecessary issue is to take it off the table!!
There aren’t many black managers in the football league though, at least in proportion to black players. I dunno why that is.
I think there are two possible reasons. Could be although there are a lot of black players a lot of them are from overseas and leave and that not a lot of those from this take their coaching badges. In fact there are not that many white ex players with the required level hence the managerial merry go round from a small pool. This may well alter in the future, hopefully.
He has been mentioned a few times in speculation about this due to his connection at Derby. From memory , on 3 September 2020, after a number of years as part of Derby County's academy staff, Justin was handed the role of Derby County's first-team development coach in Phillip Cocu's backroom team. In November 2020, he was one of the caretaker management team appointed following the dismissal of Cocu. After Wayne Rooney took sole charge shortly after, Walker returned to his first-team development role.
Reading Wiki he’s played at all lower league clubs but must have impressed Derby and Rosie and Rooney - so you never can tell ‘ Chuck Berry ‘
