How many choices do you want to be right <laugh>

Paul Ince, Martin Allen, now read what you have just posted...'I think it will probably be someone like' Liam Daish, Nicky Forster, a non league manager.

I selected Steve Bruce and I am quite happy to say I was WRONG!

Yeah I know it is where so many have been mentioned, I did think Martin Allen would be the manager straight away then I did change my mind a bit to think Daish could get the job or Forster but when Daish said he was staying he was off the list and when Forster started planning for the new season at Dover he was off the list so it was only Martin Allen, I know I choose more than 1 in a way, but that it cause he is who I actually thought would be an OK manager and also that there was a major chance we would get him.

Is Lee Clark still in the running (my pick)?

I still think we may see the return of the Hess!!

I would say No, LOL, but saying that if Martin Allen was to be our new manager I would not be surprised if he did not like Hessenthaler being in control so he may not get on with him so then if that happens he (Mad Dog) may quit and then I would not be surprised if Hess got the job back.

BSG - unlike Hoadie you only made one selection, so until Scally decides to let us mere fans know, you are still in the running <laugh>

I personally don't know who will be the manager but at the moment it may be Allen but who knows, Scally like to shock us.

do forgive me gfc1234, i thought you were one of mark0000 or mozzer(being the same wind up merchant), who dare i say is electing for steve tilson, like yourself at every opportunity given !!! :emoticon-0114-dull:

no wind up from me intended brb

back to the subject of manager...after seeing all these so called high profile names disappear into thin air now, i can't believe mark robson has now gone elsewhere...with what was left, leaving what exactly ???
hopefully he was run close by lee clark, which meant robson ended up taking the barnet job because clark got the gills hot seat <party>

just hope to god though martin allen or tilson are not in the mix to end up down victory lane and sit with a smug grin on there face in our imminent press conference <wah> <wah> <wah>

P SCALLY PLEASE TAKE A LONG HARD LOOK AT THE RIGHT CHOICE NOT THE EASY ONE !!! <ok>

I agree, it worries me slightly but I would be very happy with Peter Taylor if Clark doesn't take the job. You'd like to think tomorrow would see an announcement made but I would have expected to have known by now... never mind, patience is a virtue I guess :P

As it's getting very close......
I'd like to thank everyone for their contributions to 'my' thread. It shows the level of interest of the clubs' most important affairs. Other sites have been very quiet over the last 4 - 5 weeks. I sincerely hope that whoever is appointed* can take us into L1 in August 2013.
*(my OP suggested Allen !) - this wasn't meant to be a competition to see who would be right ( that's alwaysme)
:cheesy::cheesy:
Now - who wants to start a First Team Coach thread ?

How am I being a WUM by saying I want Tilson as manager!

How am I being a WUM by saying I want Tilson as manager!

think its not directed at you its directed at people that whenever someone mentions someones elses name say "nope it gonna be tilson" or other non constructive posts.

as for the manager situation someone said someone was thinking things over and we had a back up in place cant help think given the time its taking that the first choice was robson and now we must have a approached our second choice as long as they have been snapped up as well

Right another day down and still no appointment. :( is it too much much to ask for a little update from the club?

Is the delay due to contract issues with prior club? Is the candidate in the running for another job? Does no one want the job? When can we expect an announcement? Just some kind of news please.

I thought there would be a manager by now, Like I said last night I thought by this time today we would know but we don't, now I wonder when it will be.

The speculation has lost it's fun now as people's frustrations are becoming more apparent and with everyday that passes the prospect of a manager that is below expectations and the backlash that will follow is not worth thinking about. The drivell that will appear on the KM website will be embarrassing.

I accepted that Scally was going to take his time, but that is 3 weeks maybe, but now we are around 30 days later and have no manager, come on Scally.

due to no interest in job THREAD CLOSED.

Sorry brb - couldn't resist it - the frustration is getting to me.

( WHOOPS - I couldn't even lift your quote to Hoadie on his Euro thread without messing it up - don't want to be accused of copying. )

I think we have offered it to someone and they are weighing there options
Paul ince has already turned it down that's why there's a delay

there will not be any announcement before friday at the earliest, have a feeling gillingham are waiting to see the birmingham outcome first and then will act further.

whatever the outcome, we can't appoint allen or tilson !!!
