Not in a million years are Brighton going to let him go... especially for the peanuts we would be able to offer. Furthermore why would he take the step down to us.

When/if he goes it will be in a year or two to a Premier League side. And at some point I wouldn't be surprised to see him on the fringes of the England set up.

I think we might have to be a little (a lot) more realistic in our ambitions tbh...

I know exactly who is interested in him and have given him years of come to QPR as I know him very well and he was in our five a side team years back he was that could then although his Dad is still a better player now

He will also make the England team i am guessing within 2 years as GS loves him as a player

Awful injury and he started back at the weekend ... he is hungry

I don't think they will go with Dim Tim. Too many fans on social media are saying he is a dick and don't want him.
TF is a social media whore and actually listens and worries what fans think about things. Cannot see it myself. I reckon it will be Clement who was his dream manager.

I so hope you are right.

This is just lazy journalism, based entirely on the report in The Standard this morning, which definitely was lazy journalism.

So my original report must be true because I have seen it word for word in two completely different other places... well we are truly up the s**t creek without a paddle then

I think you are right about TF and the social media. As Rodney Marsh said it is also probably the main reason Jimmy was fired. I doubt Sir Les was really wanting Jimmy out yet, and now I suspect he fancies Sherwood. TF may prefer Clement, but will he leave Bayern for us?

From the other DT rag - please let this be so:-

Former Derby County manager in the frame for the QPR job
By snicholson_DT | Posted: November 07, 2016

Former Derby County head coach Paul Clement is being linked with the manager's job at Queens Park Rangers.

QPR sacked Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink at the weekend and have started their search for his successor.

Tim Sherwood is the bookmakers' favourite but Clement appears to be in the frame.
Clement was sacked by Derby in February after only eight months in charge having twice taken them to the top of the Championship.

He is currently assistant manager to Carlo Ancelotti at Bayern Munich. He has also worked under Ancelotti at Chelsea, Paris St Germain and Real Madrid.

Clement is the son of Dave, who played more than 400 games for QPR in the 1960s and 1970s.

Tony Incenzo was just on Talk Sport, he seemed to suggest Tim wasn't in the running (asked for too much last time around) and spent most of the time talking about Clement. He also said the club hope to make the apppintment by tomorrow or Wednesday latest. Other names in the frame are Zola and Holloway according to him?

Strikes me that Clement is the one they want but have a couple of others on standby.

Would love to see Clement come in, would be happy with Holloway (at least it'd be entertaining), not overly enthused by Zola but a better choice than Tim, Pearson or Giggs.

So, expect to see Tim appointed by tomorrow......

I've had money on Zola at big odds on the last two occasions we were in this situation, because I read somewhere ages ago how much TF liked him.

He's currently 60/1 with Paddy Power, but only 14/1 with Ladbrokes

I looked at that page earlier, and it wasn't there...However nearly anyone can change a wiki page...so nothing to read into it.

But a bit of good news (I think) is that Tim Sherwoods page has not been changed

I know Wikipedia is very unreliable...just seeing if any other sources have been seen.

I heard that this afternoon, poor old Tony, after the Brentford game he couldn't eat, sleep or even talk to his missus. He's the epitome of the long-suffering QPR supporter God bless him.

I suspect TF will be trying his hardest to land Clement, no need to say how much he loves this club, I just hope he isn't sold a pup by TF/Sir Les...
