    How it should be imo
    Association first
Form starts at 0 at us
    It's the fit
Just to have the name Clement is enough for me as a fresh start

Sherwood only has roots that grow back up his own arse ... he is a tumbleweed imo and should go to Blackburn and fail there

Says on Sun Ferdinand had been targeting Sherwood. They're good mates what a load of rubbish. I saw them at The Grove hotel together not long ago.

If we go with Sherwood they better have tried everything possible to get Clement and he turned us down. Otherwise I'll be well pissed off and feel that he's been fast tracked in because he's a mate.

David Mac says on WLS that QPR have talked to Holloway about the Manager job. Hope it was about helping manage the media team.

The Brent and Kilburn times also say the Club have talked to Holloway + Clement + Chris Powell + Robinson. They say Hoos is a big admirer of Powell. They think Sherwood is considered too expensive.

Why is it in business that people at the top are hired based on their success in previous jobs but in football they hare hired because of a name or the amount of clubs there been fired from?

Why is Mcintyre harping on about peoples opinion on Sherwood?

I thought he himself wrote that Sherwood was out of the running only yesterday?

If it is 'dim Tim' then I expect nothing better than JFH with him running up and down the touchline throwing his Gilet about. I hope they don't go for him. <doh>

I have been reading the various message boards and my preferred choice of manager is Clement.
I admit that a part is purely sentimental, but he also has a good coaching pedigree.

The key question is will he be able to deliver results and entertaining football quickly enough, i.e. will he get enough time to impose his style of play, his players, his attitude and his behaviour?

I believe the tweet Norway posted above pre-dates Dave's piece about Sherwood. Also his tweet would have been in response to a barrage of Sherwood tweets by irate QPR tweeters (is that a thing? twiterers maybe?).

Queens Park Rangers are reportedly on the verge of appointing Tim Sherwood as the club's new manager.
    The Championship outfit
sacked Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink on Saturday after the Dutchman oversaw just 14 wins in 47 games since his arrival at Loftus Road in December 2015.

According to the London Evening Standard, Sherwood, who has been out of work since leaving Villa in October last year, is expected to be announced as QPR's new boss on Wednesday evening after having talks with director of football
    Les Ferdinand.

The former Tottenham Hotspur boss, who worked with Ferdinand at Spurs' academy, spoke to QPR about replacing
Harry Redknapp last year, but after failing to agree a salary, Sherwood took on the job at Villa.

It has also been reported that
Chris Ramsey will be promoted to assistant coach.

Clement did not want to leave Real Madrid mid season last time so if the same this time Holloway until end of season maybe. See his as short as 17/10. Please not that dim tim with Ramsey.

If it is Sherwood then he'll get my backing.....gotta give the guy a chance I guess.....but I can't say I'm excited and would have much preferred Clement.

Roll back the clock a couple of years - that managerial crew of Sherwood, Ramsay & Ferdinand did a pretty good job for Spurs in the 2nd half of that season. Still don't like the man, but perhaps the three of them working together could help our club get its mojo back?

Tim Sherwood sacked: Statistics show Sherwood was most successful Tottenham manager in Premier League era

Manager was sacked on Tuesday and leaves White Hart Lane with the best win ration of any Spurs boss in the league since the beginning of the Premier League

Tim Sherwood makes a gesture following the final day win over Aston Villa Getty Images

"My record here is second to none," raved Tim Sherwood. "My win percentage is the best of any Tottenham manager. I'm the best manager this club's ever seen!" Five weeks later, Spurs have sacked thier manager.

Sherwood made the tongue-in-cheek comment after the 5-1 victory over Sunderland at the beginning of April, but just over a month later, he is looking for a new job after the club sacked him.

But does Sherwood, who has been much criticised since he took over from Andre Villas-Boas last December by the club's supporters', actually have a point?
This season alone in the Premier League, Sherwood has a far superior win percentage than his predecessor Andre Villas-Boas.

Sherwood signed an 18-month contract with the club after replacing Villas-Boas in mid-December, but club chairman Daniel Levy has confirmed that the club have executed a break clause in his contract that means they can part company with the 45-year-old at the end of the season.

In light of his dismissal, how does Sherwood compare with the Portuguese Villas-Boas who he replaced?

    Premier League win% 2013/14
    T Sherwood 59.1%
    A Villas-Boas 50%

Who could replace Tim Sherwood as Tottenham manager?

Adding the total league games for Villas-Boas, Sherwood still has a better ratio in the division, and he also tops club favourite Harry Redknapp, who guided Spurs to their highest ever Premier League finish - fourth in both 2009/10 and 2011/12. It has to be noted, however, that 'Arry managed 112 more Premier League matches for Spurs than Sherwood.

Premier League win% (criteria: over 10 PL matches)

    T Sherwood 59.1%
    A Villas-Boas 53.7%
    H Redknapp 49.3%
    M Jol 41.6%
    D Pleat 38.5%
    D Livermore 38.1%
    G Francis 36.1%
    G Hoddle 36%
    C Gross 33.3%
    G Graham 33%
    O Ardiles 29.6%
    J Ramos 28.6%
    J Santini 27.3%
