Article from Telegraph saying that Howe was approached via intermediaries, but both parties wary of a manager from a club so close on the South Coast. AVB was never considered. Suggests Garcia is a serious consideration, but the article also alludes to an unknown foreign manager (mystery man, I assume).

Nice, a Jeremy Wilson piece. It'll be club fed, then.

So we're down to the final three: Garcia, De Boer + mystery man.

Fitness testing is in 12 days so Saints want someone in place soon.

I'm not sure, but K Billy said he knows the name and had never heard of him before. He also said if that guy gets the job, we'll all go "Who.......?"
