Eddie Howe ?Lots of bits floating around about him not wanting to leave Bournemouth, though.
I could get behind Eddie but I still think this has the feeling of a left-field appointment like Pereira.
Yeah, I really think Eddie fits the model of what Saints try to put themselves over as.Yes please.
I think he would handle the step up very well.Yeah, I really think Eddie fits the model of what Saints try to put themselves over as.
My only concern is what happens if he doesn't get to grips with the gig and the fact we'll be going into Europe.
But hey, he's a good coach and a good character too.
Yes please.

Yes, but I don't think we would handle the step down very well.

For that reason..........i'm in
Well, firstly he was less experienced when he went to Burnley. He has pulled off some excellent results with Bournemouth in the PL. He's very tactically astute and he has a very good character. He gets his sides playing good football. Why ?
I agree he has been a success at the Cherries , but flopped at Burnley.
I admire him , but I just think there is something about him and The Cherries that just " Clicks " . Hell of a risk given our current situation IMHO .
How do you know he would be a step down? Do you have a crystal ball? Remind me, where had Pochettino managed before he came here?Yes, but I don't think we would handle the step down very well.

I don't get the whole 'flopped at Burnley thing' either. His win percentage was 40%. Mauricio's was 38% with Saints.
Adkins hit 54% and Koeman hit 48%. Different leagues, but there we are.
His win percentage with the Cherries is 50%.
Mystery manager? Well that narrows it down.K Billy has just named who is at the top of Reed's list.
Emery
Howe
Pellegrini
