Yes, but I don't think we would handle the step down very well.

I think that's a bit harsh, TSS.

Let's not forget we took considerable leaps forward with a man who had one job and got fired from it in Spain (with his team bottom of the league and adrift, no less), and spoke through an interpreter.

Eddie's done a stunning job with Bournemouth and fits the club's profile.

Why ?

I agree he has been a success at the Cherries , but flopped at Burnley.

I admire him , but I just think there is something about him and The Cherries that just " Clicks " . Hell of a risk given our current situation IMHO .
Well, firstly he was less experienced when he went to Burnley. He has pulled off some excellent results with Bournemouth in the PL. He's very tactically astute and he has a very good character. He gets his sides playing good football.

I'm not overly keen on Howe when given all the other names we keep talking about but I don't think we can compare taking on Burnley with taking on us. At Burnley he would have been a pretty traditional manager in a club without our resources.

Any manager that comes in here is a coach and not the old school type that covers transfers and all the rest.

We will have to agree to disagree , IF he comes here ( and IMHO he won't want to ) he will fail IMHO .

I don't get the whole 'flopped at Burnley thing' either. His win percentage was 40%. Mauricio's was 38% with Saints.

Adkins hit 54% and Koeman hit 48%. Different leagues, but there we are.

His win percentage with the Cherries is 50%.

Maybe we should go with that 54% guy then ;)

KBilly gone on to say Howe, Emery and Pellegrini top the list with one other. Pereira also mentioned
