no opinion on his ability

but robins to me comes across as the most boring man to ever live
dont know why like

agree with this, but I see failing with Sheff Utd as being a positive

I completely agree,

Robins - how much of his success was down to Ade Viveash?

Schumacher - Stoke stagnated under him (as they have under every manager for a few years)

Jokanovic - failure at Sheff Utd, trying to change style of play, Heckingbottom took them from 16th to play-offs

I didn’t know what Jokanovic’s failure was so went looking.

I think all of the above will improve us from Tim’s tenure. I think man management will be key - but not sure how all of the above stand in that respect.

Not convinced that Acca making the decision on his jack jones will get it right, but its his party, so I suppose he can do as he pleases.

PS....Jok was good at Fulham, and he lasted more than a season at Watford. That's a bonus. I was surprised when he failed at the Blunts. Seemed as if the fans weren't happy with the appointment and wanted him out early doors.

He's listening to Dublin supposedly.

Jokanovic - Evens
Robins - 5/2
Schumacher 3-1
Kartal 12-1
Duff 18-1
Cooper 20-1

Robins has shortened a bit after drifting to longer odds than Schumacher yesterday.

John Terry and Mark Hughes have been my favourite randoms to appear in the betting so far. Is this because someone has put money on them or bookies putting out the bait for some dafties!

One list yesterday had Nicky Butt at 18s - Nicky Butt??? Kartal - No thanks. I am sure there are loads of good overseas coaches out there, but our record of finding any is garbage. So hopefully the HDM article suggesting someone with Championship experience is accurate and we don't make another comedic appointment like a Slutsky, Averladze or Wally.

Hull Live understands from sources involved in the search for Walter's successor that Ilicali has told those involved in the process there is no pressure to rush into making a permanent appointment, and while there is an understanding that it can't drag on for any longer than necessary, he is prepared to wait to ensure they get the right man.

Assistant boss Andy Dawson will take charge at Middlesbrough on Saturday after being asked to guide the Tigers through this latest transitional period by head of recruitment, Jared Dublin, on Wednesday, who is thought to be playing a key role in the process. At this stage, Dawson has only been asked to prepare the team for the trip to Teesside, along with Under-21 coaches Conor Sellars and Billy Clarke, along with goalkeeping coach Erbil Bozkurt, and that will continue for as long as necessary.

City are understood to have five or six potential options that they're looking into with former Fulham and Watford promotion winner Slavisa Jokanovic on that list, while Mark Robins is another under consideration, as are others based in the UK. No decision has yet been made about the preferred candidate, and the owner will use the next few days to research potential candidates and carry out the necessary due diligence, but Championship experience is being viewed as a key characteristic.

Jared Dublin. Head of Recruitment or Sporting Director? Was being referred to as Sporting Director yesterday. Maybe same thing in practice but the latter sounds much better!

I know many are saying, understandably, this time we want experience, normality, etc, but sorry, I really hope we don't end up with a Mowbray or Hughton. We surely should be a tad more forward looking still than those sort of options (meaning no disrespect whatsoever to what they've done in earlier decades).
