A decent coach would not go along with it if he thought it was wrong. Don't kid yourself he is anything other than a cone guy. He is part of the problem.

All he had to do was walk away if he thought Walter was bad. He could have left when he realised Shora and Rosenior weren't good enough.

    Clear the decks.

Why is there a clamour for Robins? He'd be dour and dependable, he'd keep us up then we'd find him uninspiring. I'd prefer Cooper or Schumacher.

I agree to an extent but how you can call Robins ‘dour and dependable’ but then clamour for Cooper, I’ll never know. Cooper’s football is as ugly as he is.

So Dawson should walk away from a well paying job because his boss is ****? Didn't you just criticise paid professionals for downing tools but now you expect one to quit midseason? And what are you on about with Rosenior? Why would dawson think he wasn't good enough?

Rounding out the history lesson - goodness knows what Rambling Syd Rumpo's (aka Kenneth William's) "Cordwangle" might be in "The Ballad of the Woggler's Moulie" lyrics !?

I'm not really clamouring for Cooper either, I'd prefer to be inspired.

None of those 3 are particularly exciting to me but Robins or Cooper would give us a half chance of staying up and consolidating a bit, which is what we need imo. Offer a shortish contract, 18 months say. then see how we look.
