I'm still baffled at how much people hate it. I thought everyone liked the classic, minimalist kits these days. City release an amber and black striped one with no sponsor - surely a dream scenario - and it's somehow controversial. I've read dozens of comments about how bad it is but I still don't understand what people actually dislike about it.
McVities are back, Corendon gonna be front of shirt and maybe a new Stadium name.

Hull City sponsor latest as iconic brand set to make Premier League comeback
The Tigers are preparing for their first season back in the Premier League for a decadewww.hulldailymail.co.uk
In that case he'll fit right in, here today gone tomorrow and repeat. While the money is always welcome, that McVities bloke seems to be in it for the glory.
Well he certainly won't be in it for the money, he doesn't need it being a billionaire. While the money is always welcome, that McVities bloke seems to be in it for the glory.
Well, if true it shows that the marketing, shirt and sponsorship experts from a month ago were talking (writing) absolute ****e.Seems strange after all that to stick with Corendon. Gives the impression the lucrative offers expected weren't forthcoming.
The Fail do love the word iconic, don’t they? Iconic brand to make return on front of iconic kit.Could be the McVities Biscuit Bowl after all.
You forgot ""FACT "'Well, if true it shows that the marketing, shirt and sponsorship experts from a month ago were talking (writing) absolute ****e.
Apparently Oxen were no longer producing the kit because they were too tinpot for a premier League club, Corendon were getting the boot as sponsors because they couldn't afford the premier League sponsorship costs and would get outbid by a wealthier brand... This on top of the ****e written last season about Acun having to sell the club to break even and telling club employees not to pay bills. Honestly can't believe a word written on here and the more confidently it's posted, the less likely it is to be correct.
Could be the McVities Biscuit Bowl after all.
why else would he be?While the money is always welcome, that McVities bloke seems to be in it for the glory.
I dunno, exposure and goodwill towards his brand?why else would he be?
I was confused toowhy else would he be?
didnt other higher ups at mcvities think they dont need more brand exposure in the uk when we were in the champ?I was confused too
Surely that is the main reason for most sponsors (that and brand recognition in untapped areas I suppose)
No idea, but there would be some sense in that.didnt other higher ups at mcvities think they dont need more brand exposure in the uk when we were in the champ?
This is 100% correctJust bugs me how he was quick to bin us off after one poor season now suddenly he's back. Probably annoys me more than it should.
He attended several games last season, including away games in the away end. He probably went to more games than a lot of people on here last season. While the money is always welcome, that McVities bloke seems to be in it for the glory.
