First two seasons I went to City they were playing in stripes. The first season’s one better than the second. Then they played in all amber with two black hoops which I detested before switching to amber shirts and black shorts. If you look up the history of City you will find we only changed from black and amber stripes because Harold Needler wanted to change the name and colours of the club but after the uproar it caused kept the name but insisted on plain shirts as he didn’t like striped shirts.
