No big deal,just curiosity but as an individual I much preferred the sewn in version and thought it gave off a more 'expensive' and refined look.

For us the badge was much more popular, particularly the metal badge, though we'll mix it up from time to time and I'll do embroidered logos again at some point.

The map on the away kit looks different, but the 3rd….is that Amy Johnson? A woman who was lost in a plane, real inspiring stuff for a shirt.
It all just looks too messy for a football shirt, so no to both!
The only good thing is it’s not Kappa, in AI rubbish or in real life! <cheers>

Amy Johnson - a women who was lost in a plane?

Kinnel. Try the first women to fly solo from England to Australia or wartime hero who lost her life ensuring that the RAF had the right planes in the right place at the right time, in order to defeat the Luftwaffe.

We really don’t do celebrating our famous and talented in Hull, do we?



Wouldn’t want her (or anyone else’s) image on a football shirt however.

Tbf, I asked ChatGPT to do a shirt that “pays homage to Amy Johnson” and one that “reflects maritime heritage” and the AI took the brief incredibly literally.

I like the home one .
The white one would look a lot better with Amber neck and sleeve cuffs ( would need Cityzen to clarify which shade of amber though ) and no to the purple one .
But the fact we aren't with Adidas renders them nil n void
