Recyclable kit being used for two years rather than one. There's some good in there.

But it's something for The Daily Mail to lazily chuck the word woke on and hope to get some boomers irate about something that will absolutely never affect them. Useful stuff.
It'll certainly keep me awake tonight...****ing hideous!!

Talking of recycling,I'm waiting on a new tent coming from Eurohike. We've already got 3 but needed something a bit smaller for quick erection(and cease)....

Anyway,it was made from 80 recycled plastic bottles,very eco-friendly:emoticon-0148-yes:

Hopefully I sleep well in it and I'm not 'woke' too often by noisy party animals...

Oh give over. It is ****ing awful. And woke applies to the vegan, green fanatic Labour sponsor who owns the club. It gives generation alphabet something to get behind I suppose.

Aside from the kit being hideous (which it is), two year kits is an excellent idea. It’d be interesting to know if people are more likely to buy a kit that lasts two years than one.

Also recyclable kits is fantastic and should be applauded not criticised by the now meaningless ‘woke’. Where’s the problem with it?

If your living in that area you can now get a prescription of free football tickets to combat depression, the issue is having to watch FGR in that kit.

Sorry to pee on the chips but they're not actually that sustainable. We have the machines but the benefits are actually minuscule when broken down and a lot would argue there are wider issues such as them being single use garments (not recyclable like normal polyester clothing) and using bottles actually forces the production of more bottles as recycled bottles cannot be used to make more plastic bottles!

It's probably the biggest waste of money we've had in the factory. Nobody really wants the fabric and it costs a bomb to run. Production time is about 3 times more than normal polyester so if you take into account the fossil fuel powering that additional time it's just silly.

I was offered some work with Reflo a couple of years ago at a trade show in Germany. They do some great stuff but the plastic bottle stuff by any brand is just a gimmick.

My missus bought a 4 man tent for about £120 from go outdoors in 2020. Me and the lad are still using it now. It's brilliant and I can't believe how cheap it/they are.

Hope you have some great times in it mate. I'm excited for this summer holidays with him so much.

We've got a few tents Jim but one of them is really big and takes a bit of putting up...Got a smaller one for it we're nipping away for a night of two:emoticon-0148-yes:

Grandson wants to come the next time....Just **** no!!!

There’s some great places, just the damn midges!

Connick Hill, Rest and Be Thankful, Glen Coe, Oban, Inveraray, all great places to go.
That's the trouble .
I went for a walk on the Isle of Mull on a muggy evening then sat outside the pub as it got dark .
I had literally hundreds of bite marks the next day .
The itching for the next week was awful
