FINANCIAL RELIEF EXPECTED AFTER TRANSFER BAN
As is known, Hull City, who are going through financially difficult times, were hit with a transfer ban due to delays in some payments. With the Safiport sponsorship, hopes have increased for the club's financial situation to improve a little and for this ban to be lifted.

The news "Huge Sponsorship Support from Fenerbahçe Manager to Acun Ilıcalı's Hull City" was written on July 06, 2025. It was also updated on July 06, 2025.

no idea kalmann

The rumours about switching to Umbro and the deal falling through are interesting. Maybe they didn’t plan on having Kappa this year and haven’t even decided on a design yet, let alone a kit reveal/release?

It's odd that we hammered the prices so much in the sale, you'd normally only do that if the new gear was due imminently.

Assuming it's still a Kappa kit, they shouldn't have an issue getting the payer kits sorted, they shouldn't be massively impacted by a later switch from Umbro. The replica kit deliveries could be an issue, but they could knock out the player ones in a few weeks if the needed to.

It was said way back in early March that the Umbro thing fell through and we were remaining with Kappa, loads of time.

Have they paid for the apparel that we had last season ?
To not have anything whatsoever just 4 weeks away from the opening game is not good .

Is a firesale really that odd when the issues with 'cashflow' evidently dated back to last season?
