No need to be a sarcastic twat. The other concept kits was an all white kit with an Amber stripe going diagonally across the front simular to what crystal Palace have had on their kits. Maybe put the brain in gear next time before commenting.
Calm down you fanny
If it is it’s weird
Black n amber home and away kit
Ridiculous

All amber away kit seems wrong. Especially when amber shirt, black shorts and amber socks is what we’ve commonly had as a home kit.

I was actually hoping for an amber shirt with pinstripes for the home kit this season similar to the 09/10 shirt or the 1982 one.
You could look at it as solidifying the brand to a certain extent. This way, whether we wear the home kit or away kit we’ll still be in our club colours. Not saying it’s for everyone but there’s a logical argument.

It’s not logical tho is it

I kind of get it. The majority of the time we wear our away kit is when the black clashes. There's maybe 3 teams I can think off the top of my head that the amber and black stripes would clash with and only 1 of them is in the division.

I’m not interested what a fat bloke who lives in his bedroom thinks
Are Man U having a red away kit
Liverpool red away kit

it makes no difference to me I aren’t buying a kit
It’s just a weird thing to do

Those teams have one primary colour though. What about teams with stripes? For example, would either of the Sheffield teams have a white away kit? Newcastle a black away kit? Yes, of course they would and have done in recent seasons.I realise none of these teams are of interest to you but it’s not that unusual. Palace had three kits last season all containing their primary colours.

I think a better comparison would be Sunderland having their traditional red and white stripes for their home kit and an all-red away kit.

It’s the first season I don’t want a City kit, the home one looks stupid, it’s like a Kenny Everett sketch, the 3rd kit is a washed out blue, and I’ve never liked the all Amber shirt even though I have one of those from yonks ago, and probably only worn it a couple of times.
I usually get one bought for my birthday in August, back to wearing some old shirts.

I can’t get over how poorly-made the home shirt is. I went into the new shop in St Stephens this week for a quick look. It’s good that they have a regular fit and a player-spec skin fit for sale but I couldn’t ignore how the side amber stripes aren’t symmetrical and are different sizes depending on if you get a small, medium, large, XL etc.

Not to mention the adhesive used for the badges melt in 30 degree weather.

Point taken.

The stripes thing is a poor oversight/design error. The kids’ kits have three amber stripes and the rest is black.

Think this is a worse design choice than anything we’ve got. West Ham have done the opposite of a blackout kit and gone for a whiteout but left the sponsor in black.

I do think this is an issue, and the lack of amber in the home shirt makes it barely a valid City home shirt to me. On the other hand, I think having an amber away one slightly makes up for it. Don't know why anyone would have an issue with that part, it's unusual but so what.

That's almost a beautiful shirt - Umbro have delivered as always - but they've bottled it with the sponsor and it ruins it.

Our colours always have been black and Amber, I don't remember you having this kind of hissy fit when we had an all black kit so why is it so bad to have all amber?

It’s just poor by Kappa Turkey imo. The front of the shirt should be the same design regardless of size. Instead, the front of the shirts are cut from the same cloth and then stitched to the side panels meaning the side stripes are smaller or larger depending on the shirt size and also asymmetrical depending on how it’s cut from the cloth. Really shoddy.

I’ve seen shirts from teams that use the main European Kappa licensee and they don’t have this issue so it’s just a quality issue with Kappa Turkey.

I, like many, also think the shirt is too black. I think they should’ve made the back of the shirt amber with black numbers and lettering like this:

At least from this image, it is a recognisable Hull City shirt from the back.
