They've reverted to their normal badge after using a one off badge.
They've reverted to a badge they last used in 1997.

Google is your friend, I perhaps should have used it, instead of relying on memory to an article I recently read, they've gone back to a badge they used in 1998.

Frig my old boots! Some want spoon feeding, my Google search brought up numerous articles on their new badge. Top of the page was from their OWS.

It refers to the crest first worn in 1998 but was their regular crest until recently when they launched a commemorative crest for a single year, and another singular crest for a second year, before reverting to their regular crest. Just because it was first used in 1998 does not mean that was the last time it was worn.
So basically exactly what I said in my original post.

Feel free to read my edit. You're really not coming across half as smart as you think you are. The crest they've returned to was used as recently as 2020/2021 and was only changed for two commemorative crests, exactly what I said in my original response to you.

It's fine, the frustration is just that it's exactly what I originally said and all I was after was a link to the article where you'd seen something different.
