Tbh I'm far less bothered about the manufacturer's logo than I am about some of the hideous colours and patterns on the away and 3rd kits.

I guess it comes down to demographics. What shirt will sell best to kids, teenagers and 20 something's rather than simply "what is the best kit to wear". .(Older than 30 probably buy a lot less shirts)

You're probably not in any of their target sales demographics anymore. (Neither am I)

I'm sure they take into account too, if they've already had one white away kit recently they need to make the new one as different as possible so that fans feel the need to buy a new one so might come away as odd from need to be different.

I must say, the crazier shirts are very hit or miss with me. Some of them I love and some of them I hate. The kit that looked like the bottom of a swimming pool several years ago really grew on me despite looking a little odd at first.

Me personally, no but I have grandchildren who I buy for who are and sons who still get LFC leisure wear, not replica shirts but still spending money on logoed up sportswear.

I think I've made this prediction before... But I bet before I die clubs will start experimenting with the home kit more in an attempt to get more revenue from sales.

Say SAF dies and so United play with black as their home colour in honour of him.

Or City buy their 20th title in a row so celebrate by wearing gold for a season.

Clubs will find special reasons to break tradition in a way that won't upset too many fans... And they'll do it more and more for lesser and lesser reasons (because everyone needs to buy a new home kit if you change home colours too)

Won't happen overnight because fans would be in an uproar, but before I die, I predict clubs will find a way to regularly change their home colours.

Do they not like the crazy kits? Or you just don't like seeing them in the crazier kits?
It's the red kit or no kit. They don't get to choose <laugh> (except if they want a name on the back, then they can have who they like).

The first kit we bought was for our then 6 year old grandson. We bought the whole kit in a special "my first kit" box. He wanted Salah on the back. We don't live close so it was delivered to him and when he opened it he reportedly said "I've got Salah's socks as well". Being quite young, he thought it was Salah's actual kit that he himself wore.

Reactions: Milk..
I liked the orange kit, I always thought it a strange choice as an away kit because orange is so close to red in colour.... But it worked.

I wanted one but refused to pay top price for it, instead choose to wait for it to be reduced. Trouble was, they didn't produce loads of them so they never went on sale and now they are very expensive :(

I know it makes me a bad man and the club sees no money from it... But most of my shirts have been fake. No such thing as getting them on sale in US, and Im not paying the price they ask. I'd certainly spend an extra £20 or £30 quid to get a legit one... But prices are just too absurd and I can't support it.... Especially when it has to be a rare occasion I wear one.

Couldn't get the orange one, I tried

It looks like they changed their minds on the shield around the liver bird on the home kit and it will now look like this

Worst home kit in a while. Looks awful and cheap/shoddy where the should meets up with chest.
Away kit looks decent, if unremarkable..
Third kit looks very blah and boring!

We've had worse kits over any individually, but as a set of three, probably the worst set of three since the Warrior days (when bad kits were a given).

If that is it, Seam looks weird from the chest /neck section. Think the colour looks horrible as well.

Black and white ones look good though
