Precisely and as for some of the comments on the EDP website - I really don't get it!!!
Off to buy mine tomorrow, but it will have to last 2 years this time.

Whilst you are right that in the grander scheme of things a t-shirt is not that important.
As a fan and a consumer I do have an opinion on such things that are of interest to me. I don't thing Aviva are really being criticized, I think it is more the designers and then the club for OKing it.
People were in fact dying before the shirt was revealed and during and after. So I'm not sure what your point is. Should we be permanently mulling over the poor unfortunates as they pop their clogs? Which unfortunates? There are so many!
I'm sure this url was directing me to a football forum not empathy to the dying masses international?
The shirts OK but could have been allot better with more thought, now excuse me whilst I silently contemplate those whom have died during compostion of this message!

Your reaction bears no meaning to my thread, if you read it properly, I'm saying it's a bit petty to stop supporting your team because you don't like the new shirt! Those of us that give our team unconditional support, buy the shirt because it represents our team!
Bloomin' heck who the hell is saying that! I think a few have had the temerity to question the design of the shirt and suggest as a result they might not buy it! Bad fans! Bad fans!

I didn't buy last season's shirt either, do I not count as a fan if I don't buy a shirt each and every year?
Of course not but to say you won't buy the shirt because you don't like it is rather petty if you can afford to buy it. It's one of the positive ways of supporting your club!
I can see what you're saying and in a sense yes I am. I am not supporting an ill judged design and as a consequence removing a small portion of funding from the club.
However I will still, and will always support the club and help fill the coffers with the odd purchase of; tickets, pies and pints bought on matchdays. As well as the odd well designed shirt along the way (I have several in the wardrobe at home some even still fit!). Support (especially of a business entity that will see me as a consumer) does not need to be unquestioning. And all businesses even ones with a heavy leaning towards irrational customers (How else can footy fans be perceived with the ever escalating prices and continued milking!) need to be checked if they aren't getting things right.
And I still might buy it!!!! (Honeymoon to go to at the end of the month, so I need to spread the Canary word resplendent in the latest colours! I guess I could see if the locals could knock me one up without the box!)

To be honest it's a lot of money for a T Shirt, if you don't like the design then I think it's perfectly acceptable not to buy it, don't want to waste your hard earned cash on something you're not so keen on. Doesn't mean you don't support your club, there's other ways to do that, in my opinion the club did mess up the design, and as others have said they almost got it spot on which is the frustrating thing about it.
Well this new shirt has broke all sales records by all accounts believe it or not !

I know some fans would rather our kits were made by Nike, Reebok, Adidas etc; but this sums it up for me - “The quality of the kits Errea have provided us and their levels of service to us and to the fans have quite simply been second to none. We've been particularly impressed not only with their state-of-the-art Italian design studios but also with their dedication and commitment to Norwich City as one of their most important clients."

Not only must there be quite a lot of people content enough with the design to buy it, there's the better build up to releases, as well as the 'feel-good' factor returned to the club. People want to feel part of the success of last season and those before it in the PL.
It might sound obvious, but I think it needs to be said again and again, these are good seasons for the club and to be supporting Norwich City FC.
There are so few clubs in our position, such great levels of support, so little debt, so much to look forward to, so much getting better.
Of course we're not competing right at the very top, not in European competitions, but not so far away that the latter is conceivable with just a bit more quality and consistency.
I'm not one to get excited about the launch of replica kits, but even I was waiting for this week to come around to see what we would be playing in next season.

I think everyone needs to take a step back here. This kit has brought up some heated debate. No one is saying that are going to stop supporting Norwich or that Errea should be scolded for this kit or that it should be boycotted or anything even close to that. It's just that the big yellow box seems like a really strange choice and does make through the quality of the design for me.
However, I have loved Errea kits, and the general styles we have had over the last few year. It just seems like there could have been a compromise that suited the design and Aviva, such as the alternatives that were suggested on here.

The fact that sales are higher than last year's show that the majority of fans couldn't care less what the design looks like and as you say I would far rather have Errea manufacture our kits and I see we have signed a contract with them until 2024 to use their kits.
At the end of the day, if you don't like it, you don't have to buy it and I was talking to someone in the gym yesterday whose grandson wants to get one of last year's shirts before they sell out!!!
I really can't make my mind up about it. Part of me thinks it look half decent. Part of me thinks it looks a bit....disjointed, so not very visually pleasing. I'm hoping Aviva payed us a big bonus to have that big yellow slab in the middle of the shirt. I'm sure I'll get use to it, I don't see it as a massive problem. Just a bit of a shame as we will have so much more exposure this season.
