A quick search for Aviva's design standards says the logo has to have 'clear space' equal to the height of the 'A' in every direction, that looks the be the size of the box...
I like it, I don't have a problem with the "box" because I don't see it as a box, I see it as a variation from the generic "half and half" option!
If it's a variation from the half and half design that makes it even worse.

If I were you, I'd make it last 80 years - so when they re-release it in four decades time, you won't need to shell out any more ££At that price, if I buy it, may be I will have to make it last 20 years!

so i think we all agree that something like this would have looked so much better...
