A quick search for Aviva's design standards says the logo has to have 'clear space' equal to the height of the 'A' in every direction, that looks the be the size of the box...

Not so sure. The box definitely throws off the symmetry.

Also, does the green seem a bit dark to anyone else. Maybe it's just the picture

It would be absolutely fine if the background to the box wasn't exactly the same colour as our yellow. as it is, I agree with Colk that it throws off the symmetry. They should have used the white Aviva logo IMO

I get fed up of fans who say they don't like our shirts being supplied by errea - personally, I'd rather we didn't use Nike, Adidas etc!!!!!

Unfortunately it reflects that the club will get more money from Aviva than the shirt sales revenue and that's even though its hideously over priced at £48 a pop. They no doubt also take our custom for granted what ever the design.
At that price, if I buy it, may be I will have to make it last 20 years!

Bah!

Yeah, though I can understand that Aviva would not accept it. I just don't understand why they didn't use their normal logo, which still would have been an annoying box, but wouldn't have distorted the colour split:
