So, out of our entire history we've had striped shirts for over a hundred years. And stripes for the twenty years before the 2010/11 sash. That sounds like a strong tradition to me. Can't wait to see what next season's shirt looks like, I'm already tired of this one.

Send an email to the club, I'm sure they'll apologise for desecrating tradition and pissing on everything you once thought was Southampton :(

They are representing Southampton FC. Surely, as long as they vaguely play in red & white, while at St Marys, that's all there is to it..?

And btw, the new kit still is stripes. Just pin stripes. The Away kit is just the opposite colour arrangement.
