Do you know of the ins and outs of hiring a manager or head coach ?
I'm all ears as I haven't a clue but I know people in other work that turn down lucrative jobs for something that fits them.

Ok, it was reported he was happy with the terms then turned us down fir lens. Again, journos mainly talk shìt mate :emoticon-0148-yes: <laugh>


I won't push you for info, but I know you aren't particularly fond of KS.
I've wondered about him myself but happy with our progress from league 1.
I think KLD will sort any loose ends though. It's in his interest as the owner.

I've seen this point a few times, and I get it but for me I still (no pun intended) am disappointed with the club. I've seen a few mention Still couldnt join until the 1st June but surely we could of had a deal signed before then? Plenty of players under contract sign deals with clubs whilst under contract, IMO I dont buy we couldnt have had that deal sorted well before Lens were even looking for a manager.

If he was the man we wanted, IMO I think we could of had that signed and sealed quite soon after he left Reims. All my assumptions of course, but I just cant give the club the benefit on this one unfortunately.

I’m replying to fans calling for kld to go, you get that don’t you?
 
Going to have to forgive me my stupid ADHD brain been doing overtime anyone think there's a chance it mught be Southgate once euros are finished. His contracts up, he's exactly what the model wants youth wise, young enough manager not keen on style of play like, managed in the north east before too. Or maybe a young manager or assistant at the euro's?

I have been thinking maybes an international team coach would be better suited to our set up, limited pool of players to work with given you have little to no say in transfers they might be more comfortable coaching in a ‘get what your given’ environment, don’t see Southgate dropping to the championship mind

No say in transfers is a great shout too for that.

I know all the off field stuff had me proper excited foe this season then this has derailed my excitement slightly ha. Hope he is announced soon.
