I wonder how many championship clubs have sacked a permanent manager and then appointed a new permanent manager in the last five months.

Both Hull and Norwich sacked their managers after the season finished (from the outside both appear harsh sackings) and had managers from abroad (one employed in Norwich's case) announced within the same month. No guarantee they will work out but from my perspective it looks like those clubs have a plan and have been in control over their process for getting the head coach they want. I just hope that when we make an announcement we'll feel like we can say the same about SAFC, fingers crossed we can get Still over the line.

While the owners are pi$$ing about find a new coach.. the club have announced its retained list and are now ( allegedly) in talks about the possible sale of Bellingham.. no doubt a few of our other Crown Jewels are being discussed as well, Neil, Clarke Ballard Hume etc… do the owners not think any new coach in charge of the first team squad should have a say in this… seemingly not
Player sales is up to speakman not any new coach

I've been trying to keep positive and give the club the benefit of the doubt. And I am.

But anyone remember when Speakman said we had processes, procedures and contingency plans in place that allow us to act quickly and decisively when we need a new head coach? :D

this is why still appointment is so important still can't take a job till the 1st, so it being him and waiting and you get him, everyone will be praising them, **** it up and we will be only a couple of days away from the players coming back with dodds still in charge

There's a fine line between being patient for your first choice and just taking way too long and looking incompetent. I think we are crossing that line now and I presume many think we crossed it a while back.
