If the club aren't able to announce him yet (perhaps due to compensation stuff with Reims), you'd think at the very least they'd leak it to somebody like Romano.

The fact they haven't is making me sceptical it's him. I'm not a betting man, but if I was, it would be somebody still in a job we've not heard about yet.

to be honest i just think nothing is done yet with anyone, seeing the maric stuff and people saying it's done, it could easily be announced he's taking over after he's finished the season with bayern so i don't believe that would be the hold
up

and if still was nearly done the could do the same with announcing him, cos the wanted him in december so weren't waiting for him to finish his badges off then

today would of been a good time aswell.

but i still think still will end up being are gaffer

I just think they're waiting to give him a totally clean slate. Get this season over with and he's the fresh new face going into the summer/new season.

Still need to release the retained lists, and even stuff like Charley Hurleys funeral. Probably waiting for Reims season to finish too.

Noticed Bruce starts his new role on the 1st June, I'd guess it might be the same.
 
I was out at a resturant in Leeds lastnight (Tattu), was speaking with a highly regarded agent..he said Still was the target but others in serious contention. Delay due to ongoing issues and obstacles..however he mentioned SAFC have a very tight finacial structure they work to and he said he was a fan of Speakman and that he is the man at club that all football operations run through.

I think everyone has already realised Speakman is the centre of the club.

Are the obstacles regarding back room staff and wages?

I dont know mate...he didnt want to give much away..i kept asking questions though...just said Still was the key target. Said we would lose two key players but we will get a lot of money to invest IF and a big IF the funds went back into the team. Sounded like Clarke was off..but we know that..

Thought Speakman is leaving? That’s what I’ve seen posted by a fair few.

Would be worrying if we arent imvesting back into first team mind. We all can see how far off the squad is. If we lose say Clarke and Patto then we are way way back for me. £20m would not be enough imo to replace the 2 of them and add what is already missing.
