Atmosphere was ruined the day the away fans were put a height!

Should be in ‘crazy’ corner in the lower bowl opposite to the main camera so when there’s a lower allocation it’s not as noticeable on the TV!

North Stand should have always been exclusively the home end!

Really feel for Dodds. In hindsight he should have told Speakman to go f@ck himself. His reputation as a potential HC to a third party has been well and truly stuffed. Had he not accepted though, he would have always wondered what if.
When Beale left Speakman was never going to get the sole decision again. Dodds was an admission of failure effectively.

The day Amad left then Stewart got injured.

Birmingham would need to beat Norwich and Plymouth would need to beat Hull who are still fighting to get in the playoffs.

You’d get very high odds on those three results coming in.

Yeah, but if Wednesday beat us, they stay up regardless. We need to do what we can. We have no control over the other 2 games.

I agree, but it's a chicken and egg. I've been disappointed with the atmosphere at our home matches for some time....sorry to say,but the SoL isn't the fortress we would like to think it is.
It’s very difficult to get motivated under these circumstances, we’ve had years of abject failure keeping our head above water in League one. Donald and his cronies tearing the heart and the youth out of the club. And if I hear one more ****ing mag tell me that they deserve this relative success, for having to suffer what they’ve had to, I will smack the twat square in the eyes, and I’m a mild sort.

We really need a quick appointment here. If we're still waiting in June I don't think any amount of work is going to stop it being poisonous at the very start of the season.

How do you get someone impressive enough in when you've finished 16th only by virtue of goal difference and just nine points away from relegation? We look every inch of being on a nosedive.

This is exactly why our next appointment is likely to be a gamble.

Cooper wouldn’t touch us with a barge pole as it stands, and the experienced option in Heckingbottom probably won’t have much of the fanbase happy as there’s an aura of Phil Parkinson about him if he’s appointed.

With Maric or Still or Rohl, at least there’s an intrigue there that it could be a masterstroke.

Sheff Wed brought in Rohl who most supporters seem to be happy with as an appointment and they are in **** state.

I keep reading why this coach or that coach won't come because of the state we're in. Yes this season has been one to forget but look at the players we have - Pattison, Ballard, Neil (if we can keep him), Clarke (more than likely to go if Harte has his way), Ekwah, Hume, Cirkin (when he's fit) Alese to name first teamers. Then there's kids coming through - Rigg, Watson, Kelly, Young. We have more than enough for an ambitious coach to put his stamp on and then add the players that can hit the ground running next season. I've never looked forward to a close season as much to see what happens next

Style of football for me mate. Agree about the bare achievements. But his style of play I think we would enjoy and suit our current players at least.

That's fair but I'm not sure that makes him as unreachable and above us as some are making out.

He hasn't done an insane amount in the game by any means.

Not to say he wouldnt be a good appointment by any means. just don't quite get the hype.

Not a single coach in world football would be excited to come in and work with Ekwah. Needs a rocket up his arse.

No. We really need the right appointment. If that means waiting a couple of weeks then so be it.
Certain leagues are not finished until the middle of May. Contracts may run a little longer.
That said I wouldn't be too surprised if a relatively early appointment is made.
I also feel that we will be an interesting proposition to a number of coaches looking to advance their career.

Would McKenna jump ship?

Not to another championship club imo (assuming you’re suggesting he may do with us) <laugh>

I’d hope he would at least stay at Ipswich if they went up, could understand if he did move to the prem if they didn’t though.
