Why would anyone want Still ahead of Beale? Genuine question. Honestly, what is it in his record that trumps Beale?

Is he? I doubt all of that. Would you have him above Alonso? He is the most upcoming young manager in my opinion. Still has a backstory that has brought a media interest. He has done a good enough job for the last year or so, but has really followed his ex boss work, like Beale. In my opinion, he has a lot to prove and has nowhere near the coaching knowledge or background of Beale. It would be a coup to get Still, but not for any sensible football reasons iny opinion. The media dont have build up folk for dopey reasons, and Still is a case in point. For me anyway.
It's just perception. Beale has the Rangers black mark against his name. Still is being raved about, and has been for a little while. Neither has any bearing on their abilities as coaches.
Getting Still would be a coup in profile terms though.
He’s done more in his career than two seasons at Reims mind.
He’s highly regarded for work he’s done elsewhere, below management level.
