. He has already had a discussion with President Kylian Louis-Dreyfus. The hopes to keep Still but there are some disagreements over the January recruitment between the management and the Belgian coach

I don't read any part of it saying he's trying to get a better deal. I guess that's just the interpretation you can make if you are that way inclined.
