I don't want Heckingbottom but devil's advocate, I'd rather we got to the Premier League before we cared about whether our Head Coach could hack it in the Premier League. The parachute payments would be lovely.
That said, obviously it would be preferred to find somebody "guaranteed" to be a success in the Premier League as well. I just don't think that person exists or would come to us after a 16th place Championship finish
