We were terrible under TM towards the end. Losing at home to Huddersfield was a standout game.

Every team and manager go through up and down periods. But if the up is more than the down, the manager is doing a good job.

Also let’s not forget, he was coming towards the end of his tether with the ownership around that time, I’m not suprised things got worse on the pitch.

Nothing you can do when our back 4 had the combined height of one Luton player and they are delivering quality corners over and over again. We should've had a penalty in the first half anyway if I remember correctly.
Absolutely. I honestly dont know what any coach could have done in that circumstance. Luton had all the height on the pitch, it was a horrible task. I think the fact we got as close as we did was a good achievement. That Luton side have given premier league teams a bit to think about.

If it was a sacking based solely on results or performances then those making the decision need to look back on the reasoning. It had been an up and down start to the season, runs unbeaten and runs of struggle. However, points were coming. It was reasonably clear we had no striker able ready to play. Burstow was a willing worker, but looked way short in the box. Mowbray was once again being asked to put out a competitive side without a striker. I am not surprised he was disappointed in the club. Speakman had openly said nobody wants the playoffs, then fails to give the coach the players to deliver his demands. Folk can say Mowbrays time was up, that is ok, for me though it was never about coaches this season (although Dodds underperformed) it was about the signings we did not make, and that is not something coaches can be solely blamed for.

Slightly concerned that this appears to be dragging on and Still doesn't appear as committed as I hoped.

This appointment is so important though, so better to take time and get it right than rush into something.

Ive always thought the parting of the ways wasnt results based but was down to a full and frank discussion were minds will have been spoken ....a kind of back me or sack me scenario

Blew the play-off second leg at Luton and fell short this season ...

... I liked him but he was going backwards, that's no way to make deliveries.
Our defence at Kennilworth Road was

Hume-O'Nien-Gooch

up against their 6'5" bulldozer strikers

Had Ballard & Batth been fit we would have won
Had Stewart stayed fit we would have gone up automatically.

People on here rewriting history, he had lost it, the mistake was the 2 goons that they replaced him with. The problem is I am not sure they have learned anything from it. Their next head coach appointment will show if they have

To be fair, he wasn't given the tools to change anything, as from Christmas proved

Aye, some of that going on I agree.
