I've said for a while now that I really didn't feel comfortable with the way the club has been acting recently in terms of the structure and decision making process.

If we are going down the route of the DoF model, which I am a fundamental believer in, then you have to give the DoF the ultimate power to make decisions otherwise the structure falls apart. You can't have KLD pushing for a specific coach in this model, it doesn't work.

Doesn't help that we have no clarity on if Speakman is leaving, everyone who seems to get info at least hinted he was on the way out so why is he still here?

We look amateurish and I do not blame someone like Still turning us down.

WHO IS MAKING THE DECISIONS? Is it the sitting duck Speakman? Is it the owner? Is it someone on the outside who remains nameless?

Agree with that, at the most someone knows somebody who can see people going in and out of meetings. Nobody knows what goes on in them.

Try something different. Proctor in charge with Dodds as assistant.

In all seriousness I hope we have burned too many bridges with the likes of Maric, who I think might be a better fit than Still.

I have to agree though, if it isnt Still after all this time the club are again handling the head coach appointment poorly. In my opinion.

Cheers for the info, last i heard was there was a good chance of an appointment by bank holiday monday

Now things change quickly so not sure if thats still the case . Also heard the fact theres a lot of open jobs at the minute means some managers are waiting to see how gets appointment as there will be a knock on effect in terms of what other jobs open up.

Im still pretty relaxed about things at the minute, yes its not ideal its taking so long but its always about who we actually appointment

If we have to wait a few more weeks but get the right manager ill be happy - the manager has to be back before the players come back tho. That way they have a full preseason with them

Ah well, just hope we haven’t burnt bridges with others, can see maric sticking around now kompany has come in

The view of many were we pulled the trigger on Mowbray way too soon. I was asked several times what do you actually want and expect. You cant sack coaches as readily as we have done and expect nobody looking in to have reservations.

Looks like Maric is being promoted to assistant coach alongside Kompany so that isn't happening.

Just reading the comments under Fishpaste's latest coin toss of a tweet. Some of our fanbase are ****ing cry baby whoppers

My only counter would be what impact does it have on player negotiations ongoing right now. Free agents are talking to clubs, and tfr deals are going on all around the continent. Then we have Rigg hopefully signing. This uncertainty might well have us on the back foot.

The time has come for the club to update the fans directly to cut out the nonsense coming from social media.

KLD next to a blazing log fire discussing rumours with Fabrizio Romano would be spot on but a weekly email would do.

We don't need to know who is making the decisions
 
Looking at it objectively.

No reputable journalist has came out and said who we are after, whether it be Still or someone else. The only ones mentioning Still are the ITKs (and good on them for sharing and sticking their balls on the line).

This is where the club need something concrete to come out and stop the hysteria.

Can we all not just wait to see who we appoint before kicking off.
