Furthermore goes against the data aspect of things. If they'd sacked Tony and give it dodds right away that shows they always fancied him to take it over. The fact its been a week (likely longer before an appointment is made) wtf happened in that time frame? It would scream all candidates didn't want it.

Personally would like to see someone new come in. However, if we had brought in a new head coach last week and they made the tactical tweaks and personnel decisions Dodds made which resulted in a good win against a good team they would be getting hailed as the Messiah. Just find it amusing how football fans think.

Surely you would want Speakman to appoint who he feels is the best man for the job? If he feels like that is Dodds then I think he has earned the right to make that decision. Our fans would've picked Keane over Neil and would never have appointed Mowbray so I think he knows what he is doing.

It won't be Dodds so not sure why i'm wasting my time with this.

I heard a rumour today but unsure of the source that Mowbray had enough and told them to do one and walked.Not sure why they he would say he was sacked then due to paying compo. Is this pointing to some truth in this or just more bollicks?Hope this is not true and not a knee jerk reaction

But if Dodds is in charge for Leeds and Bristol City and wins them both, and our first choices are saying they won't move during the season, I absolutely would not be against it if that's what the club decided to do.

It's all a bit moot anyway because a heavy defeat tomorrow night renders that idea complete undesirable.

A defeat tomorrow would have us a point ahead of where I thought we'd be from these two games after Mogga's sacking

Of course that's why I've just said I'd back him if he got the job.

Not too far off. The coach we were going to appoint in the summer will not leave his current post mid season.
