I’d like us to go for Danny Rhol if Wednesday go down and he doesn’t want to work under chansiri any longer
Good shout that pal. He’s done a cracking job. No idea if he has experience working with a really young squad like.

Best form outside the top 8 and working on a tight budget, he’s worth a look if nothing else

Ticks all the boxes <ok>

Röhl began coaching at RB Leipzig, later working at Southampton,[4] Bayern Munich,[5] and as assistant manager of the German national team.[2][6]

In October 2023, he was appointed manager of English club Sheffield Wednesday, becoming the youngest manager in the English Football League.

Then I read he lost his first game against Watford. He wouldn’t survive here <laugh>

I thought a few said Thierry Henry was in the frame last time? Chances?
Less impressive CV than Beale. So those that didn't like Beale's CV won't accept him.
Hasn't got a north-east accent, so those that were offended by Beale's accent won't accept him.
Better looking than Beale, so those that didn't like the way Beale looked may well love him.

Roy Keane didn't have a managerial CV when he came here ;) :D

Probably a best case scenario for Dodds, if he is keen to be manager that is, take over without interruption until the end of the season, expectations are hopeful rather than expectant at this point, snatch a top-6 finish and he'll win people over.

What is it with this infatuation with Will Still??

He's achieved nothing, apart from making the sports pages for being a young English coach who was coaching abroad without qualifications.

I just don't get his popularity at all!
When Tony was sacked, I would have had Still. But purely on the basis that there is/was a big noise about him- I'd read and watched a variety of interviews with him/analyses of him. To get him, at that time, would have been a bit of a coup. It would have put the club in the window and generated a bit of excitement.

In real terms though, he's less experienced than Beale. He's younger, not coached for as long, and only recently got the quals he needed. He'd probably be a bigger gamble than Beale.
