Still a serious lack of possession though, even in the season when they finished 10th it was with an average of around 45% with a middling level of completed passes per game. Along side playing with a low block which isn't what I like and I don't think would get the fans all that excited watching us. Just doesn't suit our squad unless we plan on selling and signing around 10 players each. Think it makes little sense to target a specific coach and then ask them to change their style as well when you could just get a coach who already plays that way. Just personal preferences though, can understand if people like that playing style. It clearly worked in one season for him but not in the next, unsure on any outside influences played a part in the poor season either.
Low block defending is awful, its what we did for 10 years in the prem and it was a bad watch Fans react to a high press and with a younger playing squad id hope that is what we will eventually get, tried it at times under Mowbray and it worked mostly
