Stay of social media then mate, itll only make you feel worse

Everyones mood will change with an appointment of a manager, then we can look forward to the summer and see what happens

As i said yesterday we are not in a bad place at all, we have some quality players in the squad, things off the pitch finally going in the right direction and im only buzzing to see the new strips

Get a new manager in and we will all start to feel more relaxed

If you are feeling down, reach out mate

As @Forpadydeplasterer said its only football
Totally agree with the stay off socials, absolute cesspit at the minute.

Anyone else woken up in a really sad almost depressive mood over this? Its genunely affecting my day to day life now.

Haven't felt like this about the club since, well, ever. During the Donald League One days I was able to pretty much switch it off and stop caring. Which is sad I know. But it preserved my mental health.

I now feel like the frog who is gradually heated up in a pan of water. Just 6 weeks or so ago I thought all was well with the club. I was confident that the off the pitch stuff was fixed. I was confident we'd had a blip but would appoint quickly and move on.

Now I genuinely have no idea where the club is going. I have always feared Rigg would leave. Now I can't see how he stays, unless we appoint somebody literally in the next 72 hours. The story of Dan Neil yesterday, click bait language or not, has thrown me over the edge. That was then compounded by rumour that the club is for sale, again. Disastrous.

Exaggerating things? Probably. Over-reacting? Almost certainly. But this is what is happening to my mental health over this.

So if anybody else is genuinely feeling **** about this. Not just when thinking about the club or on the board but also when you're going about your daily life. Know you're not alone.

I hope the club put us right soon.
Imo, that statement that KLD made about a head coach being "imminent" last week didn't help one bit. Has me wondering whether they had a head coach ready to sign within a day or two and it went tits up at the last minute. Just leads to more questions than answers.
I know folk will say damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. Regarding a statement, but if there's nothing concrete to say then don't say anything at all.

Agreed

‘Imminent’ …quite clearly.

Just think of it this way mate. Although it's a bit of a **** show at the minute trying to get a head coach in, at least we're not mags - even with all their riches! <laugh>

Plus the Euros are about to start at the weekend

Did say he hopes to appoint a new head coach imminently. Didn't say the head coach was imminent...

I tend to agree, there were a lot wanting to hear something from the club but I've said a few times that no good can come of it - as folk will start to moan about it unless something happens quickly

I am still hoping its announced this week

It only helped if it was genuinely imminent. It now looks like it was something to just buy more time and try and keep everyone onside. Fans are just sick of the whole thing now. Bit of a joke.

Yep,I've been puzzled by it too. Not particularly well worded either.

True. If it gets announced today or tomorrow then using the word 'imminent' was OK though, just. If we are in the end game right at this minute.

I'm not particularly fussed one way or the other but it was a stupid statement. The PR department needs sorting imminently.
Lose-Lose situation
Make a statement, fans will have a go at whatever is said. Don't make one and he's accused of taking the fans for granted by not communicating with them. People would be complaining either way.

They have put themselves into that situation though unfortunately. The statement created momentary relief and now has people feeling worse than if they hadn't put it out.

For a club that are starting to look remarkably professional in some functions, they look incredibly amateurish in others.

I praise them for their long term planning often but I'm critical of their failure to control the press, their customer/community engagement, and their overall PR.

I'm pretty balanced. The statement was poor.
