Really hoping we sort this today or over the weekend. Give me Jansen or Rosenior and I can be happy. We can’t have this keep dragging on, maybe now that info is coming out it’s close?
Coming round to the idea of Rosenior a bit tbh after reading comments from Hull fans after his sacking. Steady Eddie with possible chance of play offs, imperative we get the recruitment right though. Would prefer Jansen mind.

I'm at the point now, that I just want us to appoint someone so that we can plan for the coming season.
Must have missed that. I hope so, as he sounds a canny fit for us.
We got screwed over on Still appointment and Magnus indicating we’re in talks with Jansen. It’s frustrating as f, but I think club are doing their best and as equally frustrated themselves. Probably more so after a months of work getting Still lined up with a piece of paper in front of him he’s verbally agreed to be gazumped the day he can sign it.
Doubt anything will be signed over a weekend in close season. If Jansen, the Dutch are pretty protective over their out-of-work hours in my experience. Also love the bluntness in their culture to say things just how they are.

We didn't get screwed over. We just haven't agreed terms.
Not interested in their best efforts mate. Just actually competence and results. It's not a primary sports day where we congratulate the 17 place.
There’s a point where you stop pushing though. I think Moyes is a great example. We chased him for ages and eventually got him but his heart wasn’t in it when he arrived. You can’t just keep offering the earth, needs to be desire from both parties. Can’t just woo from our side cause that will soon fade. I want someone who’s up for the fight
Club have been clever, leak a few links about poor potential appointments like robinson and Chanillor and then when its someone like Rosenior fans are somewhat happy

I don’t think the club had anything to do with this links Tbf, I suspected the Robinson on was his agent touting him about (all the links came from north of the border)

Agreed. I haven't been in panic mode at all because any Head Coach appointed in the last 3 or 4 weeks would be sat in an empty office choosing between Minesweeper and Solitaire but the time for action is now. Get it done, quieten the rage and let us get back to our day jobs*
*of raging about the lack of signings
Thinking back to our most recent games against Hull. Thought they were poor in both games last season but remember being impressed in that 4-4 draw on Good Friday… Just feel Rosenior would be a safe option, wouldn’t expect us to be challenging the top 6 under him.
Yes thats what i was told, he agreed terms on sunday 26th (or by then) but couldnt sign apny contract till 1st June (this is the reason magnus kept mentioning the 1st of june) as we would then be due Reims comp
Sounds like Lens got in touch the start of the week after and his head has been turned
Obviously the above is passed on info as none of us are involved in the discussions but it looks like we went all in on Still, looked like it was done and another team has come along that are playing in Europe n that looks like its changed his mind
Rosenior or Jansen would be good options for us imo, id lean towards jansen but i also like rosenior n reckon he would be a good fit for us
