When someone likes your comment or quotes you, the little red number is now on the left side, but you need to click on a menu first to get to click on the notification button!

Ok thanks I know what you mean now, but the little red number still appears on the right over the bell symbol and is always visible, so mI'm confused. Is it a pc/phone discrepancy? I've only used my pc with this new version so far.

Trying it on computer and it's actually not too bad, it's just how it shows up on my phone browser that has the alerts hidden off to the left which is annoying.

Can't comment on what it looks like on a phone but on my PC I think it now looks quite smart and modern and I'm not aware of any missing or iffy functionality.
