oh yeah sorry, forgot about that trophy. Looks like we'll be lifting two trophies come the summer :bandit:

At risk of going OT I think it’s a massively open tournament. There’s not one outstanding team and no clear fave. Obvs you can rarely look past Ze Germans but I just can’t see them doing it, nor Brazil, Argentina or Spain. Will be interesting.

we all like to get carried away but we are genuinely capable of beating any team on our day. weve played some fantastic football in recent times but were just not consistent at all and seem to get scared to play attacking football in tournaments.

another thing im hoping will help us is that its not being played in extreme heat and humid conditions which usually effects us

I just had a look at kick off times and was surprised to see 2 of our group games are 7pm here. By my calculations for those cities that means they kick off at 10pm.

Pretty sweet for us.

Not sure where our group games are but it can get very hot in parts of Russia.
oh yeah I know that I just mean compared to the one in brazil where they struggled with the high humidity causing there fitness to be effected. think a few of our games are in cooler places

Nicest kit England have had for a while.

Going back to navy shorts and white socks will always get the thumbs up from me. <ok>

That's early compared to some games in Spain. Messi's first goal for Barcelona was scored at 1.30am.

I’ve left Inter games after 11pm on a Sunday and was stunned to see how many primary school age kids were there.
When I kicked my ex out and was left with a massive mortgage a Russian bird moved in as lodger. She always moaned how cold it was and said it’s 40degrees in summer where she’s from.

And yes she did look like an untrustworthy Bond girl.

Yea a 'lodger'
