Or stick out a quick survey first asking
1. Do you think there should be a tiger’s head on it?
No too obvious and has been done before it should be a Tiger walking away into the sun with it tail held high and balls swung low/
3. Do you think it should say Hull City on it?
Let follow one of our songs and freshen up with City Hull
4. Do you think it should say Hull City A.F.C. on it?
Bournemouth have stayed up by thinking the unthinkable lets go with AFC City Hull
5. Do you think it should have 1 904 on it?
For me no. It's too abstract. How about £10M as a sort of advert for how much each player is available for.
Get the results, then design a few options accordingly

Jobbies a good'en I think I've cracked it.

Why when they were looking for people to go on the supporters committee you just applied and they picked some of those, but now for the badge you have to be nominated and backed by 25 others?

I think it's another kicking the can down the road thing.

Really?
...surely not?!

(please read the above as if written in ‘sarcasm’ font)

If it truly was an honest attempt to get a badge the fans liked, there would be a vote NOW with three options - current badge, the most immediate previous badge or ‘neither’. If ‘neither’ won, then there would be some legitimacy in a new design process.
Far too sensible.

We can, and should, moan about the process

However is someone, that isn’t Bob’s Hitler alias, going to step up to represent the Forum?

I’m not, but I’m happy to support someone who really wanted to

I think they should do this but also propose a new very different design that they are the most happy with from an internal process.

If most still preferred the old one then go with that. But saying 'neither' and then using that as leverage to then offer a bunch of ideas for a new badge no one likes, and when everyone then says "Actually we do prefer the old one" they'd be able to say "Nah you voted it down in a poll".

And conversely there could be a fantastic new design we never see so won't know what we're voting for if we wanted to vote neither and might vote the old design just out of safety by sticking with what we know.

I certainly can't be arsed with that application process, but anyone going for it can have my details.

I can see the panel being filled with the likes of Babs from the senior tigers.

I have it on good authority that 'Babs' is alright actually. Alan Bagshaw knows her well and has nothing but praise for her.
I met Babs recently.
Fairly briefly, but she seems absolutely fine
Geoff B speaks highly of her from the committee meetings
