Thankfully (?), the odds on Bruce have lengthened considerably out to 6/1 and 10/3, with Clark coming in again. Basically no ****er knows.

burnsey mentioned on twitter but it was unclear whether it was fact or not, he seems to think that those names arent on the shortlist...

no bookies know. which is probably the best time to put a bet on , you're likely to get big odds on the final name. if only someone knew :D

apparently carlisle have made a statement that no approach had been made for abbott. i doubt they'd be lying, if there was something true in it they'd probably say no comment rather than say "no" .

i don't mind bruce although i'm not raving about him... i do think though that he's the hgihest profile name with the best connections.

Its got to be an English manager for some of our fans, otherwise we'd be helping support Murdoch and destroying our national game and ability to compete in national championships.

Personally Im just gonna wait to see who they announce then get behind them, support them and give them a chance to show what they can do.

Crawley will do ok next year O'Driscoll is a very decent manager, regardless of Donnys last season.

Missed the important bit: bet on them next year in a mini league, Coral normally do mini leagues

Maybe Steve Coppell could be tempted away from his director of football role at Crawley. I'd have him as manager or even director of football with someone younger as manager.

Go on! Tweep that Amr Zaki is to become player manager, I dare you!

I already posted on football-rumours.com that Omar Sharif was about to be appointed manager, they didn't put it up, not ever on the dodgy rumours section.

I just noticed that the British Squash Open is now called The Allam British Squash Open...

I'm sure I posted on here they had sponsored it. I wonder if any candidates were guest of the family?

They are bringing the Open to Hull in the next couple of years.
