You mean the most appearancez in wembley legend, 5 fa cup finals, charity shields, 4 league cup finals, european football and we made some of the greatest footballers of all time and the best manager in the world martin o neil.
It was our history that kept citys reputation up with the biggest club in england yada.
So many premier league clubs dont deserve to be in that league.
Now with the chairmen we can do what weve been destined to.

Oh, we can buy a 20 mil quid player if we wanted, n we wouldnt even have to be in the PL. Whats 50,000 wages anyway?
 
Certainly know I'm happy to be supporting a mediocre club showing some real ambition for the coming season. A club that's got its fans hugely excited about what the future might have in store.

Not sure it would make me happy to support a club, that's equally as mediocre today, by going on about the trophies we won over 30 years ago. Where's the excitement in that?

Its been reported from a reliable source that Mclaren was furious on hearing the news. He was seen storming into the Chairman's office demanding a new sweeper.

The Chairman replied "That dustpan and brush I bought you last week is good for at least another 2 seasons! Anyway Stevie lad, on a serious note, why do you want to invest in the future. Did noone tell you before you signed that at this club we live off the past. Come on, lets put the kettle on whilst I show you these photos from the 80's. That line works on our supporters at any rate! I promise you Stevie, you will feel allot better afterwards............................".

I'm loving it now everybody hates us - fantastic. Yes and it feels good thanks !! Least our Managers' haven't been alcoholics and clout their own fans - what a muppet he was and you lot were so hypocritical !!
 
my my back2back what a long memory you must have, you prob were not even born when florist managed 2 lucky wins somewere or other. living and working in nottm i hear this crap all the time, what a sad pathetic desperate bunch you lot must be, if all you can do is remember something that happened decades ago. what a great job doughty has done for your magnificent club yawn yawn.................boring boring boring!!!!!

At least whilst we've 'never won a proper trophy' we've had a bloody good time supporting our team: as previously mentioned, Wembley trips, cup finals, European football....when was the last time you had any of that??? Thought so. Granted you have a more illustrious history with your 2 European cups, and congratulations, Clough did a fantastic job with you to achieve that feat. But before and since that - no better than us.

Proper trophies or not. I'm Leicester through and through and nothing whatsoever is going to change that! Not even your proper trophies.
 
Just think Sven right know has his feet up in Sweden with the board chasing up Svens targets. Sven has no worries what so ever, hes just enjoying being back in his homeland

And Steve McClaren is nowhere near his team he is stuck in Nottingham answering phones calls and getting told no one wants to sign for them. If Forest try and compete with us they will have no chance. So far in pre season Rangers, Celtic, Stoke, Wolves, Hull, Forest, Ipswich and other prem teams have tried to compete with us for new players and they have come here. Thats just shows what an attractive proposition we are. Everyone else is jealous
