Ndong

I honestly think there was something else, something kept secret, like he was in the back seat of AJ's car, that prevented the deal. Otherwise it was a no brainer.
Ooohhh... Love a good conspiracy theory...

Here's one - M'Vila never signed a pre-contract agreement but the club asked him to act to the media as if he had - this meant that the club looked good in letting the player out of the deal he'd signed and also made people think "well if we had a pre-contract then that'll be why we didn;t pay the transfer fee" when there was no pre-contract at all...

Maybe we should have a "SAFC Conspiracy theroies" thread!

The M'Vila deal, or lack of, was tantamount to suicide.

A player above our level who was available for peanuts who used his own time and money to fly over here and be rejected.

Our big issues last season were missing any CM with any influence for the whole season, even if he hadn't made the difference we could have sold for a huge profit, or had head and shoulders the best player in this league bossing games.

It was a monumentally short sighted **** up, as per.

Reopen that wound again why don't you.

It could have really been the start of something.

Instead we went completely south.

****ing depressing lads and if ndong goes then may as well just accept staying up in the ****ing championship

If it's not West Ham it'll be someone else.

He'll still probably go.

It just means he has to in time for us to replace him, and not last minute .com

I don't think it's sure N'Dong will even want to go.

He's not complained once and kept his head down and he's gonna play every game, he might actuallyvfancy staying we seem to overlook that.

I doubt he'll have much choice though if Grayson still wants more players in.

I hope you're right though!

I'm sure Grayson does want more players in, I'm even more sure he doesn't want to sell one of our best to get a few quid to replace him with someone inferior.

I think he will be here until January at least.

Not up to Garyson or N'Dong though is it? If someone offers double figures Short will sell and pocket the cash.

I don't think they will mate. Looks like West Ham are getting Carvalho, Lyon are interested but they are after others before him, I think he will be here.
I hope he stays
But money talks and that's what short wants
Even if he is sold last minuet and gives us no time for replacement

After selling Pickford (picked for England today), Borini and whoever else, losing about 15 players wages, only spending 1.25 million on transfers and getting the Sky money I think our debt had gone down from about 110 million to 110 million, or so it seems.
It doesn't seem to be moving.
I suspect anyone who is any good will be sold (Honeyman for about 4 million for example) if Short gets an offer for them.
Any money coming in for N'Dong will not go towards new players, or maybe £250,000 if we can get a cheap player.
Probably we will end up with a loan coming in.
I'm worried that we are going to lose anybody who is any good because Short wants money and then to sell up.

I feel as long as we can get good money for them
Every one is for sale

190m(peak) to around 105m according to the journos at the echo just before we sold pickford. So around 80m. Paras won't cover 80m so expect minimum funds for transfers raised by player sales.

Not sure why West Ham want him when they already have Obiang and Kouyate.

Strange one.

Don't want him to go but centre mid is the one place we are flush so if he went and Grayson got the funds to bring in a centre back and a striker hey ho.
