I feel a lot of relief. Stops the rot and gives us some fight at last. That's all we ask. We know we don't have the quality. So we absolutely have to show maximum fight and work-rate. We need to beat Sunderland at home, I would have said we have to beat Newcastle, but now Rafa is there, probably a point would be about all we can get. Watford at hope the home the crowd is immense and loud, and they have nothing to play for, need a draw or snatch a win. Even with that, it really might not be enough.
Bamford made lots of good movement just wasn't picked out - neat control a fair bit of the time and brought players in to the game- should have kept him on Better performance over the last few games and showed some guts
Can't really argue with this, especially considering the barrage of ££ talent he had to repel. Well played TK WhoScored.comVerified account@WhoScored Timm Klose: MotM vs Manchester City, Rating 8.44, Clearances 11, Interceptions 5, Tackles 3, Dribbles 1 @NorwichCityFC
Danny Mills is a focking knob of a commentator. Does he get paid for his work or is it pro bono? What a cnut the whole game. "I'm not into statistics, but when 74 % of the play is in the second half, eight times out of eleven the team with the ball in the net wins" Fock off. He was, however quite quiet towards the end of my game stream.
Comment from Rusty after the game - "That could be huge. Any point is valuable to stop the rot. It is a big point and sends a message out to the teams around us and maybe dents them again. Huge credit to the defence. It was tough, they had a lot of possession but I think we showed better game management than in recent weeks. There were not many clear cut chances, it was a real team effort." OK Rusty - where was the team effort when we needed it against Villa, Swansea?? Care to answer that one????
Awesome effort from the lads today, I'm with others in thinking Gaz O'Neil for MotM for me. I think he must have had an intravenous drip under those bandages feeding him a constant supply of speed! Great effort from all 14 all hero's today in my book, ok Dorrans was still gash, but great performance and a real lift. We can still do this! I'd stick with Bamford I think he could be the missing ingredient with that touch more quality than Mbok or CJ COYY Bah!
Amazing that we limited Citeh to only 3 shots on target, all of them in the first half. A tight one for Motm, but Klose just edged out O'Neil for me. Great unexpected point and possibly the best the defence has played all season and finally they got their reward for it.
Impressive hardworking defensive display from the lads today but no real threat up front even when both CJ and Dave came on. No efforts on target although Bamford was unlucky with his shot that hit the bar. However we should have had all three points with that disgusting miss by Dorrans near the end he should hang his head in shame, even CJ would have buried that. Because of that terrific display by our back four today I now expect AN to make wholesale changes next game
It was an awfully long journey for the scant effort my lot put in I thought Norwich deserved at least a point, perhaps should've had all 3 as you had all the best chances Would you like to buy Bony, you can have him for the price of a tube of smarties
Sorry, buddy, that's far too much - howzabout a straight swap for Graham Dorrans instead? Plus a month's supply of peanut M&Ms?
