All of your points Sound perfectly reasonable except there's a few flaws.

Not606 as a site is a football site in general but it is quite deliberately sub categorized into individual clubs which suggests a user requested action otherwise why would the site bother. So while cross board activity is possible and positive there is a definite perception created that each sub forum is largely for that teams fans.

You seem to stray away from your thread often, into a large number of Liverpool specific threads: usually your posts have an underlying negative aspect regarding LFC.

I haven't looked but I am absolutely guaranteeing that if I was to go into the 18 other premier league sub forums (never mind other leagues) I would not find the same frequency of contributions from yourself. This would lead me to ask why? If its all about the "football" why wouldn't you be posting as often everywhere else? What other motive would drive you to post predominately on one other teams board (outside of your own thread)

Take Eric & Swarbs for example. Both of these guys fit more realistically into the image you describe of yourself. Relatively frequent posters, sometimes discussion, some times genial p*sstake but you would not often find their names in almost every thread on the LFC sub forum.

So again, why the specific interest in all things Liverpool? Why would you constantly wish to "discuss" Liverpool related topics with people you have repeatedly declared you won't get said discussion from?

And can you not see why it looks plain strange that a United supporters response to being questioned on A Liverpool board, on a Liverpool thread being anti Liverpool is to suggest to a Liverpool supporter that they are the one who should leave?

If discussion is really what you want your behavior is hardly conducive to being taken seriously. Is it?
 
Stop banging on about the League cup lol No other team even makes an effort to win it as it has no prestige anymore! I cant believe you are taking pride in a trophy that Leicester City won back-to-back not so long ago.

Apparently you're club doesn't take ANY competition seriously going on the past 50 years. You must fall into the "it's the taking part that counts" category.

Wee bit of news regarding professional sport mate, it's about the winning....

I actually hope that you do get 4th place and enjoy CL football. This season you will have deserved it. However, I would be very surprised to see you survive the group stages.
 
You could argue that the Championship trophy we won a couple of years ago is harder to win than the League cup. Teams throw millions of pounds at promotion to this league the likes of which I dont see thrown at the the League cup.

Keep you League cup and dusty old trophies from way back when you were a kid lol Its time to stop living in the past.

frank, I agree with you. However, you will only provoke the "it's an open forum and I have a right" argument followed swiftly by "so you only want to talk to yourself".

Our board has suffered far more than most from attack by WUMS and those who 'haunt' the board. Now as far as UIR is concerened, he does have the the Banter thread in which to air his views.

You could argue it; it'd be bollocks but you could argue it. And even if arguing it you're contradicting yourself: you won your little championship trophy a couple of years ago: Dusty history?

As bad as we are in the league at the minute I will bet with you here & now that we will win any of the 3 major trophies before you. hell that's not fair since we're in the final this year. Scrub that.

I'll bet you here & now that LFC win either the premier league or European cup before Newcastle do.

Seriously?? you are going to need to spend at least £100m to get back into the top 4 and £200m to get a shot at the title. I think Newcastle are closer to either of those targets than Liverpool.

Just accept midtable obscurity and move on. Seeing Liverpools results roll in each week is just getting embarrassing now and that from a guy that cant stand your club.

It about the time and effort put in to attain the players. Liverpool have always thrown money at a problem and are not prepared to see out a long term plan.
 
Dave: that's my point. Not questioning other fans on the LFC board just asking them to be honest about why they are here. As I stated: UIR will find it difficult to find a LFC fan calling the likes of Eric, Swarbs or Drogs ( other than in jest) a WUM & yet the accusation is leveled at him daily.

Nothing more Cowardly than a WUM who whines & complains when he's called one.
